Meet the Artist Behind MECCA's Most Whimsical Holiday Collection Yet 🦋✨
If you've ever found yourself keeping a MECCA gift box long after the gift is gone, you're not alone.
This year, MECCA's holiday collection is transforming beauty gifting into a work of art thanks to a collaboration with Melbourne artist, author and ceramicist Tai Snaith.
Known for her colourful, dreamlike creations, Snaith has designed an exclusive artwork for MECCA's 2026 holiday campaign, featuring butterflies, caterpillars and whimsical characters that celebrate creativity, transformation and self-expression. The vibrant artwork will appear across millions of gift boxes, bags and holiday displays throughout Australia and New Zealand from late October.
Unlike previous years, where existing artworks were adapted, Snaith created an entirely new piece especially for MECCA. Inspired by the many different roles, personalities and experiences that shape womanhood, the artwork embraces individuality, imperfection and joy.
The result? A playful world filled with colourful creatures, unexpected details and plenty of holiday magic.
The collaboration continues MECCA's long-standing tradition of partnering with female artists, championing creativity and supporting women in the arts. Alongside the campaign, Snaith will also showcase new work as part of the NGV Triennial 2026.
