Apple has unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first ever foldable iPhone. It's a phone that works like a phone when it's closed and opens up into the largest iPhone display yet. It's in store now at Apple Broadway, and you can get hands-on with it at Broadway Sydney.
One Phone, Two Ways to Use It
When it's closed, iPhone Duo is a compact phone with a 5.4-inch outer display that's easy to use with one hand. Open it up and you get a 7.6-inch screen with room to read, stream and work across apps. With Split View, you can run two apps side by side. That makes it easy to keep your notes open while you research, or watch something while you message friends.
You can also stand it up. Set iPhone Duo down to follow a workout, watch a show at a comfortable angle, or use StandBy as a bedside clock with your photos and widgets.
Built to Go Everywhere You Do
iPhone Duo has a titanium frame and hinge cover, Ceramic Shield on the front and back, and IP68 water and dust resistance. The inner display has a nano-texture finish that reduces glare. Its A20 Pro chip and 48MP Dual Fusion camera system give you plenty of power for photos, video and gaming.
It comes in two finishes, Star White and Night Sky, with storage from 256GB to 2TB.
