90s London Called — H&M's A/W 2026 Collection Has Arrived
Brit Pop energy, lingerie-inspired romance, and the kind of effortless cool that defined a generation. H&M's Autumn/Winter 2026 collection is here — and it's giving major late-90s London vibes in the best possible way.
Now available in store at H&M Broadway Sydney.
The Inspiration
H&M A/W 2026 looks to late 90s Britain — a moment when musicians, artists, and style icons rewrote the rules of self-expression. Think Brit Pop attitude, London subculture, heritage patterns with a twist, and the kind of dressing that mixed high and low without a second thought.
It's nostalgic, but it's completely now.
The Key Pieces
This season is all about contrast — heavy and light, casual and elevated, vintage and fresh. Here's what to look for on the floor:
Skirts are the hero piece this season. Pleated silhouettes work equally well styled down with sporty knits or dressed up with sharp shirting for a night out.
Leather & Faux Leather shows up in a serious way — standout pieces include an oversized aviator jacket with a detachable fur collar and a zip-detailed faux leather skirt that does the heavy lifting in any outfit.
Lingerie-Inspired Pieces bring the romance — camisole slips edged in lace, sweeping chiffon blouses and gowns that blur the line between bedroom and street.
Fur & Texture is everywhere — gilets, hooded jackets, fuzzy voluminous shoes, and elongated stoles with clip-on fur tails add playful, tactile energy to the whole collection.
Accessories run the full range of scale — tiny fur bags sit alongside oversized croc-look totes and sporty bowling bags, while eclectic jewellery leans into vintage-inspired floral motifs.
In Their Own Words
As H&M Design Director Eliana Masgalos puts it, the collection is about balancing heavy and light — a playful eclecticism that nods to the 90s, when lacy, light pieces were effortlessly thrown together with denim, leather, and sportswear.
