Rainbow Shoelace Project - Free Pride Beads for Minis! 🌈
Coming Soon • Sun, 15 Feb 2026, 10:00am
When 12-year-old Abbie Jane felt scared about wearing Pride beads to high school - worried she'd be bullied and feeling alone—she had a brilliant realisation: other LGBTIQ+ kids probably felt the same way. So Abbie created the Rainbow Shoelace Project with a simple but powerful mission: get everyone wearing rainbow beads so queer youth can look around and see they're surrounded by support. Now you can be part of Abbie's movement! Collect your FREE rainbow shoelace beads from the Rainbow Shoelace Project. Whether you're part of the LGBTIQ+ community or a proud ally, wearing these Pride-colored beads on your shoelaces sends a powerful message: you're safe, you're seen, you're supported. Collect your free beads at Broadway Sydney Shopping Centre, Glebe, then settle into our Minis library to read Abbie's True Colours and discover the full story behind this incredible project. Come for the beads, stay for the stories, leave with a heart full of pride! 🌈 Collect your Rainbow Shoelace Beads 🕒 When:15 & 28 February 🕒 Time: 10am - 2pm 📍 Location: Level 3, Broadway Sydney (near Lovisa) 🎟️ Cost: FREE
