Minis NAIDOC Craft Workshop: Upcycling with Nungala Creative
• Sat, 11 Jul 2026, 10:00am
Looking for NAIDOC Week kids activities in Sydney?
Join Nungala Creative for a hands-on wearable art workshop where Minis can transform a plain t-shirt into a bold, statement piece. In this creative session, kids will reimagine their garment through colour, design and embellishment — turning something simple into something completely unique.
Guided through practical design techniques, participants will explore ways to customise their piece through textile embellishment and creative reworking. With everything provided, each child will have the freedom to experiment, create and express their ideas through wearable design.
Minis are welcome to bring along a favourite garment from home, or use one of the t-shirts provided on the day.
As part of NAIDOC Week, this workshop acknowledges 50 Years – Deadly, celebrating identity, creativity and self-expression through making.
