Mobility Equipment and Disability Services and Facilities
Broadway Sydney has temporarily stopped our mobility equipment hire service at this time. We are busy planning new services aimed at supporting our elderly, those with mobility concerns and other vulnerable members of our community. Childcare Service - Please be advised that Childcare Services are temporarily closed until further notice.

MindChamps is located on car park Level 2A (yellow). MindChamps Broadway offers an array of learning experiences that are tailored, top notch programs, language classes and a wide range of sports classes. There are three convenient ways to get to MindChamps:

1. Enter Bay St Car Park North & use the express lane on the right hand side & continue to Yellow Level 2A for reserved Child Care Centre Parking at the back
2. Enter through the Shopping Centre via Level 2 Dining Precinct, take the exit at the back near Din Tai Fung onto the ramp, follow the ramp into the car park and go up to Yellow Level 2A to the Child Care Centre
3. Street access from Francis Street off Glebe Point Road: walk up the ramps to Child Care Centre

 

Toilets and Parents Rooms

We have toilets located on the following levels:

  • Lower Ground on the way to Harris Farm
  • Ground Floor next to Wheel & Barrow
  • Level 2 next to EB Games
  • Level 2 next to Victoria's Secret

Opal Cards
Opal cards can be purchased and topped up at the Coles customer service desk on the ground floor.

By train
Central Station is the closest train station to Broadway Sydney, services start from 4AM to midnight on most lines. Central Station is a 15 minute walk from Broadway Sydney. The station provides T1 North Shore, Northern line, T2 Airport Line, Inner West & South Line, T3 Bankstown Line, T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, Blue mountains Line, Central Coast & Newcastle Line, South Coast & Southern Highlands services. 

By bus
Buses stop on Parramatta Rd and City Road, opposite the centre. They travel through the city and beyond almost 24 hours a day. All Sydney buses only accept OPAL cards. City of Sydney uses the prepaid cards to reduce delays, so you'll need to get an OPAL before you get on board. You will be able to acquire one from Coles, and most convenience stores.
Bus routes L23, L28, M10, M30, 412, 413, 422, 423, 426, 428, 431, 433, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 470, 480, 483 all travel down Parramatta Rd. Simply exit the centre onto Parramatta Rd and cross to Victoria Park directly opposite the centre.

By light rail
Our closest light rail stations are Glebe and Central. Both are a 15 minute walk from the centre. Services operate daily every 15 minutes from Central to Lilyfield between 6am and 11pm Monday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturdays, the service operates 6am to midnight. There is a 24hr service from Central to The Star operating every 15 minutes from 6am to midnight, then every 30 minutes until 6am.

By car
Broadway Sydney is conveniently located on the corner of Parramatta Rd and Bay Street in Broadway. There are over 1665 available parking spots in our multi-level car park.

By bicycle
Ride your bike to Broadway and secure your bicycle and helmet safely in our Bike Block, located on the ground floor of the North Car Park, at the Francis Street entrance/exit. All you need to bring is a padlock! To lock at the block, place your helmet inside the storage unit, then secure your bike to the unit using the attached cables. Close the lid and lock with your padlock. Happy Riding!

By taxi
There is a taxi rank located opposite the Bay St entrance. Taxi's also frequent the area, and you will most likely be able to hail one down from Parramatta Rd.  To make a book via Taxis Combined or Silver Service, please call 133 300.

Car Park Hours & Information

 

The car park is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and is operated by Centre Management.
Entry is restricted between 12am midnight and 5am.
The maximum height of access is 1.95 metres.
There are 1,665 car parking spots.
Pre-booking is unavailable. 
Electric vehicle charging is available with dedicated charging bays to suit all electric vehicles. More information is available here.
Public Holiday Hours: Please refer to Centre Management.

COVID-19 Update: The health, safety and well being of our customers, retailers, employees and community is our highest mission. To further safeguard you and our customers we have installed silver ion-based safety film on all our car park ticketing machine buttons. This film contains antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, and as with all high touch areas of our centre, will be cleaned frequently throughout the day. Signage will also be installed to advise customers about our use of this safety film. In addition, as we have had the last couple of months, hand sanitiser stations remain available at each entry and we will add more at all pay stations for customers to access prior to exiting the centre. 


Car Park Entrances

There are 3 main entrances to the Broadway Sydney car park, and these are signposted:

Bay Street entrance: Access via Bay Street or Smail Street at the traffic lights.
Francis Street entrance: Access via Grose Street and Glebe Point Road.
This is the best entrance to access  the North Car Park and South Car Park (for convenient access to Harris Farm and Coles). Grose Street entrance: Access via Bay Street.

When a car re-enters within 1-hour, additional charges will apply. Total time in the car park will be accumulated. 
Please validate your parking ticket at any Auto Pay Station before returning to your car. Auto Pay Stations accept coins, notes and major credit cards (3% surcharge for credit card payment). 
HOYTS PATRONS: Hoyts patrons receive four hours free parking, then normal rates apply. i.e. 4-5 hrs will be $7.00. You can validate your parking ticket by scanning the barcode from your movie tickets or Hoyts email confirmation at any Auto Pay Machine* before you go to your vehicle. 

*Please note: HOYTS validation is NOT available at boom gate exits.

Disability Permit Holders
Car parking at Broadway Sydney is now complimentary until further notice. No time limits will apply. Disability Permit holders will not be required to display their permit in their car to receive extended free parking. 

Student Parking - Located on Level 3A
Students can enjoy $12 daily flat rate, exit before 12:00 am Monday to Friday ONLY.
 
• Students MUST park on levels 3A and 4 in the North car park to receive this Student rate. 
• Enter from Bay St and Francis St to access the North parking levels. 
• You MUST purchase the Broadway Sydney Student pass for $30 the first time you park from the carpark office to enjoy $12 parking daily.  
• You must have your student card on you at all times for verification. 
• Upon exit, insert the student parking card into an autopay machine where it will request a $12 all day payment. Once paid it will grant you exit out of the student area.

Frequently Asked Questions 

Where are the electric vehicle charging stations located?
The charging stations are located in the car park on B2 near the Bay Street exit.

How much does it cost to charge your vehicle?
Nothing. Our electric vehicle charging stations are complimentary for customers.

How long can I charge my vehicle?
Customers are welcome to use the charging stations for as long as they wish. Please note that standard car parking rates apply.

What hours are the charging stations available?
The charging stations will be available to customers during the car park opening times.

How many of charging station do you have?
We currently have three charging stations.

The charging station won’t work for me, who can help? 
The centre management team will be able to assist with any faults in the first instance. If you have any questions or require assistance, please text 0428 722 767.

What types of vehicles can use the charging stations?
We have both Type One and Type Two connectors on the cables so you can charge regardless of manufacturer. These are on the white charging pods. The grey charging units are Tesla Type Two and should be used only by Tesla vehicles.

Do I need to provide our own adapters?
No, you can leave yours in the boot. While there is a move toward a single connector type in Australia there will always be at least 1 x Type One and 1 x Type Two cables onsite.

Do I need to register my details anywhere?
No need to register your details anywhere, our charging stations are free for you to use without having to download any apps.
