    Customer Service & Information

    The Broadway Sydney customer service desk is located on Level 1 near The Reject Shop and Dymocks. Our friendly team will be able to assist with directions, in centre services and events. 

    Disability & Mobility Equipment 

    Don't let limited mobility stop you from exploring Broadway Sydney. There are motorised power shoppers or wheelchairs available to make your visit more comfortable. Be sure to call ahead so we can reserve one for you*. We require Proof of Identification such as your driver’s license and a few details before you set off. Please visit the customer service desk on level 1 for further information. *All vehicles are subject to availability.

    Centre Management
    Our Centre Management Office is located on Level 3 via the lift near Broadway Sydney Medical Centre on Level 1. Our office hours are Monday - Friday between 8:30am-5:30pm.

    Childcare Service

    Caring 4 Kids Broadway is located on car park Level 2A (yellow). Caring 4 Kids Broadway offers an array of learning experiences that are tailored, top notch programs, language classes and a wide range of sports as well as Zumba classes. There are three convenient ways to get to Caring 4 Kids:

    1. Enter Bay St Car Park North & use the express lane on the right hand side & continue to Yellow Level 2A for reserved Child Care Centre Parking at the back
    2. Enter through the Shopping Centre via Level 2 Dining Precinct, take the exit at the back near Din Tai Fung onto the ramp, follow the ramp into the car park and go up to Yellow Level 2A to the Child Care Centre
    3. Street access from Francis Street off Glebe Point Road: walk up the ramps to Child Care Centre

    Transport Options

    Opal Cards
    Opal cards can be purchased and topped up at the Coles customer service desk on the ground floor.

    By train
    Central Station is the closest train station to Broadway Sydney, services start from 4AM to midnight on most lines. Central Station is a 15 minute walk from Broadway Sydney. The station provides T1 North Shore, Northern line, T2 Airport Line, Inner West & South Line, T3 Bankstown Line, T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, Blue mountains Line, Central Coast & Newcastle Line, South Coast & Southern Highlands services. 

    By bus
    Buses stop on Parramatta Rd and City Road, opposite the centre. They travel through the city and beyond almost 24 hours a day. All Sydney buses only accept OPAL cards. City of Sydney uses the prepaid cards to reduce delays, so you'll need to get an OPAL before you get on board. You will be able to acquire one from Coles, and most convenience stores.
    Bus routes L23, L28, M10, M30, 412, 413, 422, 423, 426, 428, 431, 433, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 470, 480, 483 all travel down Parramatta Rd. Simply exit the centre onto Parramatta Rd and cross to Victoria Park directly opposite the centre.

    By light rail
    Our closest light rail stations are Glebe and Central. Both are a 15 minute walk from the centre. Services operate daily every 15 minutes from Central to Lilyfield between 6am and 11pm Monday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturdays, the service operates 6am to midnight. There is a 24hr service from Central to The Star operating every 15 minutes from 6am to midnight, then every 30 minutes until 6am.

    By car
    Broadway Sydney is conveniently located on the corner of Parramatta Rd and Bay Street in Broadway. There are over 1665 available parking spots in our multi-level car park.

    By bicycle
    Ride your bike to Broadway and secure your bicycle and helmet safely in our Bike Block, located on the ground floor of the North Car Park, at the Francis Street entrance/exit. All you need to bring is a padlock! To lock at the block, place your helmet inside the storage unit, then secure your bike to the unit using the attached cables. Close the lid and lock with your padlock. Happy Riding!

    By taxi
    There is a taxi rank located opposite the Bay St entrance. Taxi's also frequent the area, and you will most likely be able to hail one down from Parramatta Rd.  To make a book via Taxis Combined or Silver Service, please call 133 300.

    When a car re-enters within 1 hour, additional charges will apply. Total time in the car park will be accumulated. 
    Please validate your parking ticket at any Auto Pay Station before returning to your car. Auto Pay Stations accept coins, notes and major credit cards (3% surcharge for credit card payment). 
    Hoyts patrons receive four hours free parking, then normal rates apply. i.e. 4-5 hrs will be $6. You can validate your parking ticket by scanning the barcode from your movie tickets or Hoyts email confirmation at any Auto Pay Machine* before you go to your vehicle. 
    *Please note: HOYTS validation is NOT available at boom gate exits.

    Car Park Hours & Info:
    *The car park is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and is operated by Centre Management.
    *Restricted entry between Midnight and 5am.
    *Public Holiday Hours please refer to Centre Management.

    *The maximum height is 1.95 metre, and there are 1665 car parking spots. Pre-booking is unavailable.

    There are 3 main entry points to the car park that are signposted:

    • Bay Street entrance: access via Bay Street or Smail Street at the traffic lights.
    • Francis Street entrances: access to North Car Park and South Car Park (convenient access to Harris Farm and Coles). Access only via Grose Street and Glebe Point Road.
    • Grose Street entrance: access via Bay Street.

    Disability Permit Holders:

    Please register your valid disabled parking permit at the Customer Service Desk on level 1 to receive extended parking. To register for Disabled Parking you will need to bring your permit, or photo of your permit and Driver's License to the desk for your initial visit. After you register you can leave your permit in the car on display and visit the customer service desk for a validated parking ticket. 

    Student Parking - Located on Level 3A
    Students can enjoy a $20 daily flat rate, exit before 12:00 am Monday to Friday ONLY. Students MUST park on levels 3A and 4 in the North car park to receive this Student rate. Enter from Bay St and Francis St to access the North parking levels. You MUST validate your ticket in the boom gate at Level 3A by simply sliding the ticket inside the ticket machine on the right hand side of the boom gate. Don't forget to take your ticket with you, and ensure you have your student card on you at all times for verification. Pay at any time during the day at an Auto Pay Machine before leaving.





    Free WiFi at Broadway Sydney

    You can now register to enjoy free WiFi at Broadway, with complimentary access for up to 3 hours (180 minutes) or 1GB each day*. The next time you return, enable WiFi on your mobile device to be automatically connected to use our service.

    Don’t know if you could call it an extreme makeover but we’re giving Level One a bit of a face lift. No need to just window-shop, you’ll still be able to hit your favourite stores centre wide!

    What works are you completing on Level One? 
    We are refurbishing Level 1 of the Centre, with the exception of the Model & Moxham building located on the corner of Bay Street and Broadway, to improve the standard and presentation of the centre.
    Works will include: 
    ·        New mall flooring 
    ·        New mall ceilings and lighting  
    ·        New column treatments and wall finishes to the lift and amenities 
    ·        Introduction of public art to four of the mall columns, along with new mall furniture

    When will the works finish? 
    We anticipate all works will be completed by August 2018.

    What will the construction work hours be? 
    Construction hours will comply with noise-restriction regulations under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997. Standard hours of work are as specified in the development consent: Monday to Saturday, 7.30am to 10pm with no works on Sundays or public holidays.

    Will we get any new retailers (or other specific stores)? 
    The refurbishment works on Level 1 as part of this project will only include works to the common mall areas. The introduction of new retailers on Level 1 does not form part of the upgrade works.

    Will the works affect my day-to-day living as a nearby resident? 
    Due to the nature of the work there may be some minor noise and minor disruption, however we expect disruption to residents to be minimal, and will keep the community informed of any major works in advance.


    What works are you doing out on Bay Street?
    We are refurbishing the façade and main entry to the centre on Bay Street to improve the standard and presentation of the centre, which will provide a positive environment for both our retailers and customers. Works will include:

    • A new glazed awning along Bay Street (between Grose Street and Francis St);
    • New under awning signage as well as a new “Broadway Sydney” blade sign on the façade above the main entry;
    • New footpath paving along Bay Street (between Grose Street ad Francis Street)
    • Refurbishment of existing façade cladding;
    • New lighting; and
    • New and refurbished shopfronts along Bay Street.

    When will the works finish?
    We anticipate all works will be completed by Sept 17.

    Due to the nature of the work there may be some minor noise and minor disruption, however we expect disruption to local residents to be minimal, and will keep the community informed of any major works in advance. We will endeavour to minimise disruption to the community by developing relevant management plans (e.g. traffic management) and communicating these changes in advance.

    I heard you were replacing the escalators and introducing a new entry to the centre. Is that true?
    The existing escalators and lift will remain, there are no immediate plans to change these entry points to the centre.

    Will access to the shops and services along Bay Street and Francis Street be impacted during the works?
    All shops and services will be fully accessible during the works, signage will be installed to redirect pedestrians if required. The escalators which connect to the Ground Floor of the centre will remain operational during the works.

    Will the Community Bus or the Post Boxes be impacted during the works?
    The free Community Bus will operate as usual and there will be no impact to the Australia Post Boxes on Bay Street.

    What other works are you doing out the front of the Centre?
    Two raised pedestrian crossings are being constructed; 1. across Grose Street at Bay Street and 2. across Bay Street to replace the current island crossing opposite the centre. These crossings will calm traffic and provide improved access for pedestrians and customers accessing Broadway Sydney.

    Construction works will be undertaken in two stages, commencing with the Grose Street crossing on Monday 6 February. Traffic Management will be in place and signage will assist to direct pedestrians during the works.

    Cycling Clubs

    • Bike Sydney
      Bike Sydney is a not-for-profit community organisation affiliated with Bicycle NSW. As advocates for Sydney bike riders, they organise and lead regular social rides and other fund events, as well as providing useful information to cyclists around Sydney.

    • Sydney Cycling Club
      The SCC ride six days a week, leaving from Centennial Park in Sydney, on top of organising racing time trials, hill climbs and road races. The Club also hold social events such as Ride for a Reason, to support charities and give back to the community.

    • Bike North
      Bike North Incorporated is a not-for-profit group affiliated with Cycling NSW and Bicycle NSW, and cover North Sydney, The Hills and Ryde council areas. Bike North run regular social rides, as well as raising problems or concerns about cycling with local councils.
